On this past episode of The Micbomb, our host Maeshaila have made an interesting take on the current Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and what should be his future, if he and Ravens were to fallout within contract negotiations.
When speaking on something Jackson and the current conflict between he and the Ravens organization and what would be a good fit for Jackson, if things were not to work out, she stated “I wouldn’t be surprised if Lamar Jackson is a Atlanta Flacons next year.”
She went on to say that she doesn’t “see a better fit for his playing style” than the Falcons due to the similarities within offenses that both he and Falcons love to run.
According to Over The Cap’s projections, the Atlanta Falcons have over $56 million in cap space for 2023, but that number could go up another $12 million if the team releases quarterback Marcus Mariota. (Matt Urban via USA Today)
